Overview
Learn how to improve energy efficiency in building design and comply with NCC 2019 Section J using a typical design for an aged care facility.

The release of the National Construction Code (NCC) 2019 edition introduced significant changes to Section J Energy Efficiency. These changes are a big step up from the 2016 edition and aim to improve energy efficiency across the built environment in Australia.

This webinar demonstrates the impact of the changes to Section J on a typical aged care facility design using a case study that complies with the 2016 and 2019 editions.

This will include an analysis of the changes required to the building fabric and systems, the technical and cost impacts of these changes, and the likely challenges to be faced by design and construction teams to meet the new requirements.

To keep the profession up-to-date with these important changes, this webinar has been made complimentary to attend by the support of the Australian Government Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources through the Climate Solutions Package and Engineers Australia’s Environmental College.
