Methods of achieving compliance with Australia’s mandatory National Construction Code (NCC) are regulated via the ‘Governing Requirements’ of the code.
Since 1 July 2021, a change to the ‘Governing Requirements’ has mandated the process for developing Performance Solutions as a means of achieving compliance.
A ‘Performance Solution’ is defined in the NCC as a method of complying with the ‘Performance Requirements’ other than by a ‘Deemed-to-Satisfy Solution.’
Engineers who work with the NCC need to understand the intent and the application of the new requirement in order to effectively collaborate with other stakeholders on the delivery of appropriate outcomes for their clients.
The webinar will address the role of ‘Performance Solutions’ in achieving compliance with the NCC and the mandatory processes for assessment.
