The short courses in this learning journey have been curated to help you manage budgets, to successfully deliver construction projects.
You will gain value skills that will help you find the best solutions for project delivery.
This learning journey is designed to build on your tenders and bids management skills as you progress through it. Once completed, you'll have the opportunity to apply for a Micro-credential to showcase your newly developed capabilities.
1. Register for each course
To complete the learning journey, you must register for each course separately.
You can lock in your learning by registering for all five courses upfront, or register for each course as you go.

2. Complete the learning
This includes a mix of self-paced and live-online learning.
There is no set time frame to complete this journey, however we recommend you complete the self-paced courses one-week before the first live-facilitated course.
3. Enrol in the Micro-credentials
Once you have complete all the short courses and started to incorporate your newly developed skills in your practice, you are ready to earn recognition through the Micro-credential.
Make sure you enrol in the 'Assessment Pathway' on the micro-credential pages.
This learning journey is relevant for engineers working in construction with the following experience:
- Site Engineers (3-5 years’ experience): Develop independent skills in cost and budget management
- New Project Engineers (4-6 years’ experience): Practice deeper evaluation skills in cost and budget management
- Experienced Project Engineers (5-8 years’ experience): Showcase evaluation, analysis and forecasting skills
