This curated learning journey will help you build your contract management skills through a series of short courses. It will take you from the basics, through to the more advanced skills you’ll need to perform as a site engineer including:
- Knowing how to properly prepare and manage a contract to help you deliver a successful project and avoid costly mistakes.
- Understanding commercial terms and obligations, including Security of Payment laws
- Developing confident communication techniques essential for contractor negotiation
- Consolidating your understanding of construction contracts, stakeholder management, and how to successfully deliver projects

This learning journey is designed to build on your contract management skills as you progress through it. Once completed, you'll have the opportunity to apply for a Micro-credential to showcase your newly developed capabilities.
1. Register for each course
To complete the learning journey, you must register for each course separately.
You can lock in your learning by registering for all four courses upfront, or register for each course as you go.

2. Complete the learning
This includes a mix of self-paced and live-online learning.
There is no set time frame to complete this journey, however we recommend you complete the self-paced course one-week before the first live-facilitated course on 21 November.
3. Enrol in the Micro-credential
Once you have complete all the short courses and started to incorporate your newly developed contract management skills in your practice, you are ready to earn recognition through a Micro-credential.
Make sure you enrol in the 'Assessment Pathway' on the micro-credential page.
